The well-established pre-congress course will provide an update on male reproduction through educational lectures from POC members.
State-of-the-art conferences (some organized in collaboration with the American Andrological Society (ASA), the European Society for Endocrinology (ESE) and the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE)) by leading scientists on research topics of such as male contraception, late-onset hypogonadism, fetal germ development, as well as reproductive endocrinology during puberty and sperm conservation in boys.
A novelty of the congress will be the inclusion of the Meet the Expert sessions. Topics include discussion of new WHO and EAA guidelines, diagnosis/treatment of male urogenital infections, biochemical evaluation of androgen deficiency, and ultrasound evaluation of the male reproductive system.
Another important new concept will be the introduction of virtual green talks that will feature high-level international experts from around the world without the need for intercontinental travel. Selected ecological talks covering topics such as clonal mosaicism in sperm, studies on RNA sequencing profiles in testicular cells from the embryo to the aging man, as well as polygenic risk scores for predicting testicular cancer risk.

Joint sessions highlighting the very successful collaboration between the EAA and the European Society of Andrological Urology (ESAU) section of the European Association of Urology (EAU).
Presentation of the innovative scientific work carried out by the young colleagues through the Network of Young Researchers in Andrology (NYRA) session, ‘gold communications’ and ‘selected oral communications’.
Finally, announcement of current research activities in andrology through poster presentations.
