About the Course
Urology, especially uro-oncology, has undergone radical scientific and technological advances in recent years. The growing body of knowledge has resulted in practical innovations in prevention, diagnostic methods, and interventional procedures, molecular biology, minimally invasive surgery through pure laparoscopy and robotic assistance, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.
With the aim of training urological oncologists with solid training and expertise in minimally invasive surgery, Einstein Hospital Israelita offers a full-time improvement course for the acquisition of skills and abilities that characterize contemporary medical practice.
At the end of the course, students will receive a certificate of Advanced Training in Uro-Oncology and Minimally Invasive Surgery, provided they meet the criteria of minimum attendance of 75% of the course load, a final average of 7.0 or higher on quarterly evaluations, and submit at least two scientific articles per year of advanced training.
